After baking your cake, you poke a bunch of deep holes with a utility fork. Then your pour a can of condensed milk mixed with a can of cream of coconut over the whole thing. The cake absorbs this thick mixture and makes it insanely moist and delicious.
After the cake cools, you frost it with whipped topping (note: I would not do this again-a cream cheese or a vanilla frosting would have been way better) and top with sweetened flaked coconut. Couldn't be an easier recipe, looks beautiful and tastes amazing.
